Origin
Founded in Eindhoven, 2022.
Naevius started around a single technical question — how an aircraft should know where it is when satellite positioning is unavailable — and broadened from there into full platform development. That original problem is still the one we spend most of our own research time on.
Eindhoven helps more than it might sound. The supply chain for precision manufacturing, electronics and composites is within an afternoon's drive, so a part can be redesigned on Monday and held in the hand by Thursday.
How it works
A core team, and specialists per programme.
A programme is staffed with the disciplines it actually needs, for the period it needs them. If it calls for someone who has held a control link at fifteen kilometres, or who knows why a printed rib keeps failing at the same corner, that is who joins it.
The arrangement keeps the practice small while leaving the range of work open, and it means clients are not carrying capacity between projects.
